How to download a webpage in Chrome.

Three options, honest trade-offs:

1. Print to PDF

Built in and fast. But layout freezes to paper size, links die, and text reflow is gone. Fine for receipts, bad for reading.

2. Chrome's own save

Menu, Save page as. Works, but assets scatter into a side folder and images hotlink back to the live site. Move the file and it breaks.

3. Single-file HTML

The Website Copier extension packs text, images and styles into one file. One download, opens anywhere, nothing uploaded. For the full walkthrough see how to save a webpage as HTML, or go further and save a whole website for offline use.

Privacy note

Whichever way you save, prefer tools that process pages on your machine. Website Copier never uploads page content anywhere. Next: the Website Copier Chrome extension page, pricing, or the FAQ.
